Takanawa's CEO, Bolli Thoroddsen was interviewed in Bylgjan, an Icelandic radio station, and Visir.is, one of Icelandic largest online media.

Among other points that Bolli made in the interview was the story of the establishment and development of Takanawa, as well as Takanawa's assistance in the fight against Covid-19 by obtaining from Japan the pharmaceutical product Avigan (favipiravir) from Fujifilm and 60.000 swabs / 60.000 virus transfer medium for the National University Hospital, Iceland.
