29th of May 2018, MS Dairies, Iceland's largest dairy company, and Takanawa signed a production and branding agreement for Ísey Skyr with Nippon Luna, which is owned by NH Foods, one of Japan’s largest fresh and frozen food companies and the world’s fifth largest meat producer.

31st of April 2020, Nippon Luna launched Ísey Skyr in all the major supermarkets and convenience stores in Japan.

We are partners with the Danish ice cream company, Hansens. Takanawa launched the Danish organic ice cream in the Japan market in Aug. 2021.

Founded in 1922, Hansens is Denmark leading ice cream company, known for its homemade organic ice cream and hand-dipped popsicles, with focus on Fair Trade.

In Japan the product was launched first in the flag ship store of the famous Danish-Japanese bakery chain, Andersen, in Hiroshima. It was sold out immediately.

The launch of Hansens was published on Denmark Embassy in Japan website and in Japanese media.
